quote]Yep Nikki,
We watched it and that is what has started the whole thing people where really nice offering dogs for her to have a go, but she is only 7 nearly 8 and having never done anything like that before I think she got a bit of stage fright but once she realised that you could actually win stuff thats all she talked about.
We are all going to crufts so I will probably see if she wants to sign up then.
We will look out for your sister what dog is she showing, maybe she could have a chat with Meg?

Haha! We were like that...we won more rosettes handling other people's dogs! (when we had no dogs...that was a bit ago...I was in Y5 at primary school heehee! ) We probably still do! heehee! As we still go to YKC events were you take others dogs! its funny...handling a dog you have never seen before
I first handled in junior handling at Lancashire cocker spaniel open show, with Betty and Ann's NULEA UNCLE PUMBLECHOOK. It helped because 'Oliver' was such a well behaved cocker...not like our naughty little boy!
My sister will be showing our gold dog Harvey- Nicibec Harvest Glow.
(YKC Show Handling) Unlike other showing events...my sister receive a list of people who will be joining her within the class. Other cockers in the class are as follows:-
Minvery Linda's Choice - handled by (Miss Foina Lavery)
Lynshow Kraigwithak - handled by (Stacy Mason)
and our Becky with Harvey.
Plus two other handlers in the (YKC) showing cockers in the older age group 12-16 years
Plus there are 5 other handlers with different gundog breeds!
Once again the cocker is the most popular breed within the gundog group being show in (show handling).
Michelle...I'm sure if your daughter joins she will thoroughly enjoy it!
Meg will have to look out for Becky and her gang of juniors (usually with Chole.G, Hannah.P, and sometimes Tracey's daughter Chelsea.)
Its on at 2.10 pm in the YKC ring (which is next to the Kennel club stand) Hall 3.
