Advice please -
« on: March 18, 2008, 04:56:50 PM »
Dyllan has had a minor op and is sporting a bright orange bandage covered in paw prints on his leg.
I have both him and Tyke entered into a shows over the next few weeks. All the shows are open shows and I will take him along as I don't
want to leave him home alone.
Do you think I could put him into his class anyway just for the experience, obviously wouldn't expect him to be placed complete with bandage attached but it seems a shame for him to miss them.
Any advice?

Once the bandage is off the hair should soon start to grow back, I don't see why not, if only for as you say the experience.

I wouldn't have taken him in with it on though  ph34r :005:

Probably best to follow the advise of your vet, they may say you can take it of earlier...... ;)

If that is the case and you go to the shows when the judge is going over him explain that he has had a minor op.

Hopefully see you at the weekend  :D

Hi Sarah,
Is that why we missed you last week? Hope he is feeling better. Angel had a minor op on her leg and went in the ring with a shaved leg but I agree not to take him in with the bandage on. Hope to see you at the weekend

HI,
He is doing really well. Bandage off earlier this morning and the wound looked fine. :D He will have the stitches out in a weeks time.
His lump had got infected last Saturday and the vet decided to remove it, best thing to do but I was worried.
We are hoping to be up in Norfolk for the show on Sunday but will only show Tyke, Dyllan will probably come sporting a sock.
HOpe to see you there Sam.
