Seal On Envelopes
« on: September 07, 2004, 06:01:39 PM »
This is probablly a silly question, but why do all my posts have a envelope at the side, like everybody else's but mine have a red seal on the envelope?

Just wondered?

I don't know Kelly. Are you sure its not because the thread has been locked with a red padlock? Looks like a seal at the first glance. I you go to the legend at the bottom of the page, it tells you what all the different symbols and colours of the envelopes mean.

Hope that helps,

Forgot to say, that if you hover the mouse over the envelope it also tells you what it means. I think that the seal is really an * and the * means its a popular topic.

I am sure someone will be along to correct me if i am wrong, but thats my understanding of it all  :D

Yes, the red envelope stands for a hot topic, with lots of replies  :)  The darker blue envelope means the topic has had replies since your last visit, and the pale blue envelope means no replies since your last visit  :)
