They're a French gundog breed, they used to be called 'Brittany Spaniels' but are now just known as Brittanys and they're classed as an HPR breed. They are lovely dogs, fairly spaniel-like in appearance but with longer legs, they originated from pointer/setter/spaniel crosses and they do point while working. The gamekeeper on the estate here breeds them, he's got 6 of them.
