He's still got lots to learn but Harvey's got

"wotcha cocker" and "who loves ya cocker?" - which are things my Grandad (a cor blimey cockney) used to say to me so I've passed it on! Harvey's back-end goes into turbo swizzle with both of those!

"Wossis?" = Food
"dindins" = Food
"wanna sweetie?" = Food
"a-a"

"Helloooooo MacFlllyyyyyy" = If he's being a bit dense, or ignoring me - he turns round and looks at me as if I'm something the cat dragged in when I say this!!

He also has his sit, down, no etc.

We're getting there!

 :D

Maggie has -

feet - walk up and down on the towel on the floor to dry her feet

Wow!  Exactly how did you train her to do that?

There are obviously some genius-level cockers on here.

She'll follow a treat anywhere  :005:

Apart from the usual sit, down, leave,  stay etc, Coco knows quite a few words:

Gimme paw
Other paw
Roll over
Again (eg roll over again)
Get up (on bench, tree stump, in the car etc)
Over (jump over)
Let's go
Watch me (stick a treat on my nose for this one  :005: )
Click easy (press the easy button)
Fetch Teddy
Carrot (she loves em)
Biscuit (ditto)
Find it
Fetch it
Spin (turn clockwise)
Here (look at me)
This way
Stop
Tunnel (through the tunnel)
Slide (down the slide)
Dog - she will look round for doggies  :luv:
and
Wabbits!  :o :005:

Misha & Roly:

The usual sit, down, rollover, off, paw, heel, wait, stay
Find it - applies the last thing they had
Where's the ball
Find the ball
Bed
Shhh
Fetch it - for Roly applies to anything you point at or have dropped
This way
Wass'this
watch me
"Walk on" for agility A frame, dog walk, seesaw, over (for jumps),tunnel or thru
Twurl and bow for Misha
Bedtime, teatime  - any word ending in "time" will get Misha all of a frenzy - except bathtime, which she will ignore
Find it
Bye Bye (means I'm going to shut the door if you don't come in now) or drive off without you.
Get busy (for the loo)
Go get it (used for flyball)
Misha, Ellie, Roly, Lexi (& Karen)

milly knows :

night nights  -  she sits and lets me kiss her good night.

rocky is coming soon  -  rocky is daughters white boxer, milly looks around and sees what toys she has near her, then hides them behind the lounge curtain!

where is rocky?  -  milly checks that said toys are still hidden!

gates closed  -  when we are on-lead walking, she loves to have a nosey in peoples driveways,  if i say gates closed, she just carries on walking past the house.

wait  -  as in wait at the kerb, she stops dead.

wheres .............(whoever)  -  jumps onto chair in bay window and looks outside for whoever!!!!!

hi  -  lifts paw.

sit

no

give us a kiss - jumps up and licks me.

down  -  lies down, but only when i have a treat in my hand!

she is not very well trained, but i still love her!!!!!

(must be more - but i cannot think now!)
with lots of love from silly milly and her mum!!!!

On the bed - they'll both get on our bed

Tweaty tweat - do you want a treat - brilliant for getting Henry to come in the little  >:D if it's blowing a gale outside and all he wants to do is sniff the air  ::)

Gwandad - Both go beserk as they know this means my dad is coming, or they're off in the car to go and see him

Nannies - See above  :005:

Get your lead on - if we've been at my mum and dad's and are going to leave. Once his lead is on, Henry will whine until he gets put in the car - it's as if he's bored of nanny and gwandad and wants to go home  :005:

Poo poo or wee wee - will do either

Nicely - if Henry is playing a little rough with me, if I say this he'll then go into slurpy licking mode  :lol2:

Get out of the fridge - self explanatory

Katie loves the word Kissies - she goes mental wanting to lick OH - which I find hilarious - a vision of a 21stone bloke against a 13kg furrball of a cocker with only one thing on her mind  :005: :005:

Daddy coming - both hurtle to the front window as this means the OH is in the driveway

Must be plenty of others  :D
Mummy loves her angels - but they're not angels all the time - They love to chew and charge about - but mummy doesn't mind

wheres belly - you're wet!!
And plenty more, but DD and her friend have just smashed a plate in the kitchen, and Hettie needs to get sucky!! :005:

Jimmy understands 'LIV-ER-POOL' - he dances round in circles excitedly. Also for play dead the command is 'lie down and die like Everton'. (Taught specifically to annoy one of my nephews - the only gonewrong in a family of reds.  :lol2: )

They both know sit, down, wait, heel, go for a wee, biscuit, come, leave.

Mocha knows:

Wave
Left
Right
Quiet
Gimme Paw
Off (the furniture)
Get your ball/toy
Touch (target with nose)

Milo seems to pick up key words much more easily and he knows:

Daddy's home/where's Daddy?
Where's your ball?/find the ball
Twist
Spin
Weave
Go round
Tall (stand on back legs)
Wave
Bow
Hi 5
Bang (play dead)
Roll over
Feet (front paws up on a chair)
Touch (target with nose)
Paw (touch with paw)
Off
Left
Right
Over
Tunnel
Dog Walk
A-Frame
Tyre
Seaside (as in "wanna go seaside" - we say this when visiting parents on the coast)

When we were at work, he would also go and find my friends when I gave their name, so "where's Auntie Karen?"   :luv:

Both Trev had and Normy has almost as much English as I do. Normy earwigs conversations too - if I'm talking to OH in the kitchen and she's 'asleep' on her bed in the next room and I say 'I'm going to take the gang out in a minute' she appears but does it subtly and just sort of gets out of bed and stretches and yawns as if to say 'oh gosh, I had no idea you were thinking about a walk, well, if you're asking' :005: :luv: Dave isn't quite as switched on though bless him :005: :luv:

I had numerous occasions with Trev that surprised me but there is one that really sticks in my mind as to how much he understood and knew me . I had a load of junk in the car and was moving stuff around whilst getting ready to go for a walk. I opened the boot of the car and he jumped in, I then realised there was another heavy box of 'stuff' in there so almost talking to myself I said 'hmmmmm that's probably not a good idea that will hit you if we go around a corner you'd better get in the front' and he just looked at me for a second, hopped out of the boot and trotted around the the passenger side at the front and jumped in... I swear that over time (if you talk to yourself enough ) they learn as much 'English' as they can :luv: :luv:

Early years 'English' is definitely comand based, but as they get older, it moves on from that.. 'Could you please sit down, I'd like some manners before you get your dinner' is no more complicated than 'sit' to my two now. Or 'Erm?' when they're doing something they shouldn't be gets the same reaction as 'bed' or 'please stop shouting at the postman'  :005:

I get a bit irritated with OH sometimes as he pumps them up a bit before a walk and then says 'calm down'. I've told him that they don't know 'calm down' I've never taught them that... but they do know it and sit down now when he says it... damn them :lol2:

Oh and 'Dave do you see the laaadies??' usually gets a good 'woowoowoooooooo' but probably only because I used to say 'layayayaydeeyeeeyeeeeysssssss'  :005:
