Emily got out of her owner's garden.

A man took a dog that was possibly Emily into a local police station later in the day and tried to hand the dog in. The police weren't interested and didn't even take a contact number from the man

OMG that just awful    At least it sounds like she's with a caring person who will look after her

Emily is safely back home  after her owners postered and leafletted locally.

But her finder said he wanted to keep her and demanded money off the owners before handing Emily back. The owners have now contacted the police as what happened is apparently theft by finding.

  Wonderful she's back, but what a grasping  How on earth did he think that would be legal? Surely it's kidnapping?
