How long can meat / bones stay buried for before their inedible to dogs ?
Lily's taken to burying it when she has it
She'll eat her kibble straight away but leaves any raw meat or bones until she can get outside to bury it, I've tried shutting her in her cage but she just doesn't eat it. She obviously likes it mud coated
It usually only stays buried for a couple of hours max sometimes it's only minutes before she digs it up and quite happily chomps on down on it
Also - Any idea why she does it?? I've never had a dog that does this before
