Title: It's the boyfriend not the puppy that needs training!!
Post by: **purpleprincess** on July 22, 2012, 11:29:35 AM
 >:( >:( >:(

Today, as boyfriend is home all day, I have made sure he is in charge for a change! I have had a lie in and made myself scarce in the kitchen so Luca doesn't get used to just me being around all the time.

Well, he didn't realise how hard it can be!!! I'd gone in the lounge to get his mug to make a cuppa for him, and I saw Luca sniffing around- a sign he needs a wee. Told him he needs a wee, "Ok, I'll take him in a minute" well, there and then Luca weed!!! There is no such thing as in a minute with a puppy!!!  :005:

Boyfriend gave Luca his food, and Luca came straight out the crate- a sign he needs a wee, as will not go in the crate. "ok" he says, and then Luca weed!!!

Boyfriend has been trying to get Luca to 'sit' and 'down' which I have been training him to do, and pretty successfully. Hilariously, Luca wouldn't do it for boyfriend!!!  :005: I walked in and got Luca to sit and down without treats!!!  ;)

So now boyfriend knows why the place is a mess and why I am tired!!!! He has got him all day Wednesday and Saturday too!!!

It's working though me being out the way as Luca's crying is better when we're ignoring him now, it's just a little grumble then gets on with his bull's pizzle.

I've been sat here laughing hysterically at points in the morning!!!  :005:

I've got the same thing, oh never helps with Charlie. However last week we were on hols with my mam and dad who had to hold the leader, Charlie kept pulling my dad so all week I've had "you need to train him not to pull"...I take the leader and he's fine  :005:.

I have had that very same conversation SO many times!

When Bingley was tiny I found my OHs relaxed, laid back attitude (which i normally love) the most irritating thing on this earth. I used to shriek at him "you need to be quicker! If he needs to go you can't take a minute to put your shoes on!!!" hahaha

Toby = fairly easy to train.  OH = flipping impossible!  :005:  That's men for you  ;)  (I do think it's a great idea to get Luca used to you being away from him for a while).

Hmm I'm thinking of....
bronze , silver and gold
good "significant other"
awards....
you would be able to take classes
and if your S.O. did well they
could have a treat (!) and if they
passed their test would be
allowed to wear a rosette :005:
steffxxx
