Pretty normal I think! I remember legs and arms being victims...my 15 month old still has silly humping moments!

Humping can become a learned behaviour so try to distract him before he gets too into it  :D

My little Marley first started humping his teddy at 8 weeks during the puppy walker's first visit to meet him. I was very red faced! Still going strong at 5 months  :005:

It seems to be something only certain cockers do as Pepper has only tried it once in his 3 years and that was when I was shaking the throw on my sofa and he got a bit excited about it...  :005:

I can't say the same for other boys though (dogs) as they seem to make a beeline for Pepper!  :005: :005:

My girl Brodie is the same, she started at eight weeks old :005:. Her victims tend to be her teddy bear and cushions, which I suppose after reading this I should be thankful for :lol2:

Henry has humped his snugglepuppy since we got him (at 9 weeks - 9 weeks ago) - when we catch him we stop him, but it doesn't stop him wanting to do it. He doesn't do it with anything else. I was actually going to post a question asking if there was anything I could do. I just remove snugglepuppy and put it out of reach for a while. Sometimes he does it when he's lying on his back too!

ha ha sorry this post has made me smile!! I was horrified when our 8 week old little angelic, little fluffy puppy starting HUMPING!!! surely they shouldnt know about these things so early ha ha!!! Sandon is 17 weeks now and isnt as bad as he was. We try and stop him as soon as he starts by telling him no, pushing him away (never his toys I may add, always our leg!) or distracting him!!!
The other day my 4 year old said "look mummy the dog is dancing" nice! (not)
Gotta love them! :005: :005: :005:
