we are as a family very very excited, perhaps i am keener to verbalise this than the others but they are, Oliver (4) and alice (3) spend their days on all fours playing barney,

what is funny is when Alice is tired she shouts she doesn't want Barney (her tune changes the minute she has had some rest.

My advice would be have a quick look round and plot what objects are where, because trust me they'll be somewhere completely different if Barney has his say  :lol: . Cockers are good at finding things, you can't remeber for the life of you why you put something down and now can't find it, then in trots little cocker with said object in mouth which is now all chewed and guey  :lol: . It seems to have gone quite quick, I didn't have the luxury of a COL fix 5yrs ago, can't believe it's been 5yrs since our first dog Lottie, it has flown by  :blink: . You'll feel like you've had him forever when he first sets foot in your home  :D .

Yep...We have lost two of Ben's combs this week. (My fault)

Heard Buddy barking today, but couldn't see him......he'd managed to sqeeze in behind the sofa and was stuck!

And NEVER leave an unread newspaper down...our don't get weed on but do get chewed! AND our copy of The Perfect Puppy has been chewed. Not sure that was innocent puppy fun though! :blink:

From experience I would say you can expect about 4 months or so of this type of reaction - my daughter was three when Molo came home, and it was impossible to explain to her why he: nipped, needed to sleep, jumped up, didn't keep still etc etc  :rolleyes:  Teaching her how to behave calmly and gently with him was hard work too  :ph34r:

Once they come out the other side of this phase though, it is delightful to see them play together; they certainly rule our household together  :rolleyes:

Good luck.........I look forward to hearing your puppy stories soon  :)
