 :bigarmhug: :bigarmhug: I'm so sorry, what an horrific tragedy.  It's painful enough losing a pet to ill health or old age but to lose a youngster this way is heartbreaking.

I see the member who lost her pup has contacted you.  She will be a shoulder to cry on having experienced similar and I know she will be very supportive.

In the meantime, please don't beat yourself up, it's something that can happen to any of us.

I'm heartbroken for you.  :luv:

So very sorry. Our puppy enjoys off lead walks but it is a measured risk we take for her to enjoy life to the full. With our last spaniel we often spoke of her near misses - chasing tractors, crossing roads to run after  joggers etc - any one of which could have ended in heartbreak. You have all been terribly unlucky and my heart goes out to you x x

Thank you all so much, your kind words to me as a stranger mean so much.

We loved our little boy so much and just now the grief is just overwhelming.

He will be in our hearts forever but just now its only the sad memory of him last night that I have.

Want to cry just reading this, goodness knows how you both must feel.  :'( Please don't blame yourself. He's beautiful and I'm sure he had a wonderful time with you in his short life xxxx
