So sorry to hear this news, I can't imagine how you must be feeling, but don't blame yourselves.I've seen dogs that are never walked off the lead and they just plod along, dogs that are allowed to run around show so much joy and bounce. You gave that chance to Henry. xx

I am sitting here crying with you, what a tragic and unfair thing to have happened. It is so clear that you loved Henry and enjoyed having him about. The fact that you did meant he knew what love is and enjoyed a very happy life with you and OH. As some-one else said there are many dogs who never have this.

My thoughts are with you and OH I cannot imagine the loss you must feel right now, I only pray this will ease a little with time and that you OH can forgive himself for what was an accident.

RIP Henry watch over your mum and dad.

So sad to read this terrible news. I can't imagine the sadness and pain you must be experiencing. I was travelling abroad when our third cocker was also killed by a car, aged 5 (don't think the driver stopped either) - it is devastating and you keep going over it and saying if only... Try not to beat yourselves up about it, sadly it's something that could happen to any of us with our dogs. I hope the memory of his short time with you will help you through these hard times.
RIP little Henry
xx

This is just so awful to read about. It could happen to any one of us.  Dogs, no matter how well trained, are living creatures with minds of their own and they do impulsive crazy things - which is one of the reasons we love them.  I hope that time will help you cope with your terrible loss.

So very sorry for your loss.
Don't blame yourself - it was an accident.
Just take care of yourselves and give yourselves time to grieve properly.   :bigarmhug: :bigarmhug: :bigarmhug:

I am so very sorry  :'( That was such a cruel thing to happen.  Please don't blame yourselves, it could happen to anyone, it was an accident  :bigarmhug:  There is no rhyme or reason to these things.  Your poor husband, I am so sorry for him.  Much love at this difficult time.
