Zorro is coming up to 6 months already - god knows where the time went!
He's a gorgeous little boy, absolutely loves his cuddles, dotes on his big half-sister Bella and has become a pro-wrestler under her tuition. He is thoroughly ball-obsessed which has been brilliant for his recall (and unlike Bella he'll drop the ball at your feet and stand back for you to pick it up!).
He's a completely natural retriever, we've thrown his ball into piles of leaves, long grass, thick undergrowth, even a holly bush once by mistake, and he fearlessly goes in, tail going like the clappers and finds that ball no matter what and brings it proudly back to you - what a star!
Bella and him are complete little soul mates and absolutely love each other - when they're wrestling they always spend half the time just lying next to each other on their backs, tails wagging and nuzzling each other really gently all over their necks and faces
. If one of them's been out for training etc, they are always really happy to be reunited, and Bella especially tends to be a bit mopey if he goes out without her.
His bad points? Eating cat poo and sometimes being a bit overly demanding on the attention front despite lots of very deliberate "ignore him" ploys on our part. That's really it - he's a fab little guy!
So overall I guess you could say we quite like him
