Puppy classes in Sheffield/Rotherham
« on: June 14, 2007, 06:34:12 PM »
Hello all!!
Getting v excited as am picking Milo up tomorow afternoon. Just wondering if anyone knows of any good puppy training classes in my area? Just wanting to get a head start and be able to check a few out before I commit to one. It'll be another few weeks before he's fully vaccinated but unfortunately I am one of these control freaks who HAS TO KNOW whats happening otherwise I think I might miss out on something good!  ::)

Any tips/contacts would be much appreciated!

Oooooh can someone PM me the name / number of who they recommended?

I'm looking for puppy classes too - only ones I've found are based in Millhouses.

We went to Millhouses Dog Training Club in Sheffield, when we lived there (with our first cocker) - it is absolutely brilliant, and I'd recommend it!! :D

the lady who runs the agility club I belong too with Ben has puppy parties/classes and 1 -1 training etc but she is in Chesterfield/Dronfield is that too far??
she has been really good for me and Ben, very quietly spoken and patient with a rebellious cocker!!!

Thank you for all the advice everyone. I shall give all your suggestions a call, think they might be abit far for me (treeton) but if they're as good as you say it may be worth the travel! :D

My trainer has just moved and set up her own training school. I don't know how far it is from you but its 200yds off Jct 4 on M18.  She's a fantastic trainer and has helped me tramedously.

The training school is part of a setup that includes luxury kennels and grooming salon. Its an ex-quarantine kennels so its very safe and secure with lots of space.

If you'd like more info PM me and I'll give you her contact information.
Sam is mum to - Sapphi (working black Lab 5 1/2 yrs), Max (Golden Retriever 4 yrs) Morgan (American Cocker 2 1/2yrs) and mum in spirit to Barney (English Cocker 3 1/2 yrs now living in Scotland)
