thomas loves apples will thay harm him

Hi all

   Just a very quick question, thomas loves apples just wondering if thay will harm him? every time i eat one he just wont go away from me so he was over my mother-in-laws  (Nanny's) and thay gave him a little bit and he kept going back for more. Does anyone on here have a dog that loves fruit? i find it very strange.

Mine like apple cores. Apple won't do him any harm - in moderation. My mum's JRT loves oranges  He bites a wee hole in the skin and sucks the juice out.

Apples are no problem, mine both adore them. We play apple bobbing on hot days with Jarvis, chopped up bits of apple thrown in his paddling pool, he loves it.

All fruit and veg is fine except grapes and raisins as far as i'm aware.

I have heard that too, and basically they contain minute amounts of arsenic but it really is tiny amounts. I used to give apple cores to my rats and they lived years, so i doubt it would have any effect on a dog.

It's cyanide they contain - but only minute amount - not enough to be harmful.

Must admit Billy loves orange. If I eat one in front of him he drools all over the place 

He's a lazy git though, I have to peel it for him
