I started to read your post at work this afternoon but had to stop.So here i am sat here tears streaming out of my eyes, wondering how on earth you must be feeling.  You gave Maisy all the love that you could even when it was challenging and you will always love her, she will be in your heart always

Please don't let your experience put you off having another cocker, they really are the most affectionate dog i have met, i know it will take some time before you could even think about it.

Maisy, you were loved and everyone here is feeling so sad that you have left our world. Run free at the bridge and have the best time chasing the birds and cats. You will never be forgotton

Oh Nina ,
I'm so sorry, there's not much to say that hasn't already been said.
You saw a puppy, you gave her a home and all the love you could, but sometimes that isn't enough. You made the right decision, the only one in the circumstances.
No one is going to say you didn't try everthing humanly possible to sort her out, but sometimes the cards just dont fall in our favour :'(
Give yourself time to grieve and come to terms with what has happened - treasure the good times you had, i'm sure they were many.
Please feel free to PM me if you want a shoulder to cry on, or someone to shout out!
