Milo comes home tomorrow!
seems forever and ever since the day we met him, Specially with our Winston nightmare ... Have the house spotless and hazard free (that took ages and ages) and the garden puppyproofed to the best of our ability...
and the crate and beds and toys and food and treats and brushes and combs and bowls and ... erm ... Help! I'm so sure that I have missed/forgotton something vital, and basic and I don't want to get him home just to have to hit the shops ... any final words of advice?

HOW EXCITING!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yes... defo get as much sleep as poss tonight (that's so not going to happen if you're anywhere near as excited as I was though  :005: :005:!) Dave will have been home 2 weeks tomorrow and it's got better and better, you will have some 'I'm so tired and just want to get out of the house!!!' moments but it soon passes. Mostly we're getting 7-8 hours sleep a night now so it's not too bad!

Had to get up at 5 for work -  >:( so very tired, but hardly slept last night for excitement so thinking all hope is lost for tonight!  ;)
We have charged the cam corder so we can film him meeting his big little sister (Tink - our cat) because I think that will be one to remember, and have hundreds of batteries!
Just been to the the pet shop (proper local shop- the guy knows everyone - "your Betties sons boys lass aren't you...?!")  ::) and came home with some hide chews and further advice on everything. *I got some poo bags - thank you Aearoniel!* And we have a hoard of loo roll innards that we keep for a friends rabbit and never remember when we go so thats no problem.  :005:

Phew! I'm all over the place - like a kid on Xmas eve!  :005: :005:

Ooooh no it's even better than that  ;)

Have a wonderful wonderful time... for the record both my pups slept really well on the first night and didn't bother us at all (think it was the shock!) so you might be ok tomorrow night   :D but she might get noisier the next few nights.. it does get a lot easier very quickly though if you're firm and consistant as they grow so fast (unlike babies!!!!!!!! >:D :005:)

Good luck can't wait to see the pics!

Honey is starting to quiet down through night now - just wish I could stop her pooing in her crate  :huh:

Get lots of kitchen roll to mop up puppy accidents and get some sleep!  I really hope that Milo is the pup from heaven ............. I'm sure he will be but if he isn't and you feel the need to rant - PM me!  I had the pup from hell and yet he's still here 2 yrs later  :luv:  I wouldn't swap him for the world but he did test me  ;)
