Honey - Worker or Show?
« on: September 03, 2007, 05:57:04 PM »
Following my recent thread 'New pics of Molly & Honey' I took Honey into the garden and took some close ups of her!!

I think she looks more worker than show. What does everyone else think?

ETA - Honey is 1/4 Worker

Not silly at all as that's exactly what I thought!........unless we are both silly  ph34r  :005:

I think her head isn't as domed as many show lines are, look at my Avatar for an example. But she has alot more hair than worker pups would.
Sam is mum to - Sapphi (working black Lab 5 1/2 yrs), Max (Golden Retriever 4 yrs) Morgan (American Cocker 2 1/2yrs) and mum in spirit to Barney (English Cocker 3 1/2 yrs now living in Scotland)

Could she be a mix of the two (like my Budlet?)

Do you have her pedigree? Might be worth running some of those names past us and see if we recognise any of them?

Oh she's deffinitly a mix - 1/4 working!! (Dad full show, Mum 1/2 working!!) Her pedigree is in the research section!!

I just posted these pics because even though she is only 1/4 worker i can deffinitly see that look coming through and wondered what you all thought.

Ah, sorry for being a bit dim. I am feeling a bit out of touch as I haven't been around as much as usual. Sorry.

Yes, Buddy is 1/4 working type too, and I sometimes look at him and see either of the two types as more prominent.

I actually think the mixed dogs look gorgeous but don't want to be slated for "encouraging" mixing of the lines!
