Hi has he eaten anything unusual or a change from his diet? Shadows does change colour but only when he ate something for instance he ate a carrot (orange poo) :005:

So long as Gunner is well, it's probably down to his food (or scavenging pick-ups!)

Buddy's goes dark when he has tripe or liver (I think?)

If he is showing any signs of pain, feeling sick or generally unwell then I would get him checked up as black poo can be a sign of bleeding internally (but it is rare, so don't panic!)

Hope he's ok. Do let us know.

Eric has dark poo some days even when his food hasn't changed.
I've never thought it was unusual until you mentioned it.
My last dog Groove used to have a taste for wax crayons, now rainbow coloured poo is interesting  :005:

Probably something he's eaten but would keep an eye on him.  Our pup passed bright red poos last week - I panicked.  But on close examination (ewwww) and a bit of detective work she had eaten some pot pourri.   :005:

Fred is quite vocal so could probable 'sing a rainbow' as the song goes but 'pooing' a rainbow is something spectacular!!

My daughter didn't find the pooing a rainbow quite as entertaining. It's funny the only colour he didn't eat was the brown  :005:
