Fun packed hour!!!

Lily's off to pre agility training tomorrow morning  :D

It's more for the socialisation than anything (she's a bit of a wimp around other dogs  :shades: )  We go to socialisation classes on a Sat am too, just to help her along a bit  ;)

Sounds like a fun packed hour:  Introduction & Safety First: How dogs learn: Body language: Clicker Training: Sit: Down: Come: Wait: Stay: Leave it! Send away to target: Poles on the ground: Working between Jump wings: Channel Weave Poles: Rigid tunnel: Table: dog walk at ground level. Stepping through Hoops. Socialisation, meet & greet. Trouble shooting: Fun games & more...

I'm quite looking forward to it, hope she does well and doesn't embarass me too much  :005: :005:

That sounds great and think you'll have a very tired little pup on your hands afterwards!

Agility is great.  Pippa goes to a puppy class, although she is nearly one now so should be moving on soon, and we both love it.  Barney also does a beginners class. It's really interesting watching them both and the different enjoyment they get from it.  Pippa just loves to have my full attention all to herself and especially enjoys the jumps and tunnels.  She can't concentrate for long so likes to be moving all the time as quickly as possible.  Barney on the other hand really likes to puzzle things out and revels in getting things right and being praised, but is very "ploddy" and often refuses the jumps altogether.  :005:

Please keep us updated on Lily's progress.  I'm sure you'll have a fab time.  It's a great way to spend some really good fun time with your dog.

We´ve been taking Jess (our 5yr old Lab/collie) to agility classes and will soon be taking Mojita along for socialising and can´t wait to see how she is with the other dogs. Today she met for the first time my friend´s 12kg golden retriever (nearly twice the size of Mojita) and wanted to go and play but it took the other one a while to get used to her and we are lucky that Mojita´s mum and sister live a couple of minutes away so she is always round there for a play.

It was cancelled today due to the weather  >:(
