Planting a tree will help, sad at the time but helps later. We planted rose bushes.

So glad you have found someone who can help to heal some of your pain!
I've got leaky eyes all over again reading this!!  ph34r

A tree for Charley sounds fantastic  :luv: - but make sure it's well out of the way of any puppy teeth that might be exploring in the near future!!!

So happy for you, enjoy the weeks of anticipation, they're half the fun! Plus they make you appreciate the good nights sleeps that will come to an end soon!  :005:

I hope the ceremony for Charley brings you all closure, it's a great idea, I wish I'd thought of it when I lost my boy.
Take care

Thanks everyone, it has been kind of left hanging, so hopefully a bit of closure is whats needed. We're going to the garden center later to have a look at something that wont grow too big.

Livercake he is a show cocker - with thanks to all the great information and advice given on here i have learned so very much, i have done it the right way, and i feel iv asked all the right questions and am very happy with the breeder who shows and judges. My partner wanted another 'Charley' which i told him wasnt a good idea, as if we went to a reputable breeder the dogs would probably be worked and the pups would need far more than what Charley needed with him being a little 'diluted'. Hope you understand what i mean?

At PAH is a nightmare place to go, or rather a nightmare place for my OH to take me!  :lol2:
