I want a D-SLR, and one day when I do get one I WILL go on a course, do they do them all over the country? I am in East Anglia
There are loads of courses up and down the UK, you should have no problem finding one nearby
Canon have a partnership with a training provider who offer courses specifically designed for their various camera models (which is who I have chosen to go with), but there are loads of companies which offer courses; they advertise in the back of photography magazines and there are lots of on-line photography forums where you can get advice and help you chose the one which is right for you!
Cool I've never done one of those but I'm sure you'll have a great time and a zoo is a great place to have it. What's it going to be covering?
It's their introductory course....
and it covers:
• PIC modes - what they do
• Auto white balance explained
• Program mode
• Handholding speeds
• The effect lighting has on images
• Understanding drive settings
• Understanding lens usage
• ISO speeds and when to utilise
• Framing your images
• When flash should or should not be used
There are a couple of more advances ones I'd like to do, too (landscape and action) - but I thought I would be best starting with the basics and working my way up....(and the location was a definite draw!)
