Betty's is Delgarno Leech Hope Cragg. All of the litter were named after places/things in Northumberland and Leech Hope Cragg is just outside the village of Elsdon - we've even been up to have a look.

Can I just ask why some affixes are asterixed?

Meg is "Warm Ginger Glow".  Her pet name is Nutmeg and was known as "Nuts" which I didn't like so I use Meg.

Jesse's KC name is Jesse James. The breeder picked the name after I told her that my puppy was going to be called Jesse.  :D

Keli was Kelynen Mister Bojangles.

When the KC reg came back I was so disappointed. All the other dogs had beautiful Celtic and mystical names. So did his parents - but he got Mister Bojangles.

But in the end, he really was a Mister Bojangles - you could imagine him with the hat and cane. :005:

Jaray would be the KC Affix from the Breeder & so your puppy is known to come from that particular Kennel/Breeder.
My Honey Lamb is the KC name the breeder registered your puppy as.  The breeder usually chooses the name's.  :D

As Ninasmum says registered names for puppies are chosen by the breeder. In the case of KC registered pups, most breeders have their own kennel name/affix which will be the first word of the registered name. The KC also has various rules about what words can't be used in a name and limits how long they can be. Not sure about the DLRC as this is a totally different kettle of fish and don't think breeders who use this company are able to register their own affixes.

Here's an oldish thread from last year where people talked about their dogs' registered names:
