So, a week ago I was not sure if the silly thing ate one of the wife's socks (one of those very short ones you wear with trainers) but wasn't 100% sure and she seemed fine so we didn't do anything other than keep an eye on her. Nothing got pooped out she was eating and drinking and generally fine so after a few days we assumed she hadn't eaten it after all. Move on a week or so and yesterday she vommited said sock.......so we're the hell has it been for a week ?????

A friend‘s dog had a similar experience after eating a peach stone, - she sounded like she was trying to clear her throat, the vet couldn‘t find anything and it was a week later before she finally threw it up!
You would imagine, with a sock, that the stomach acids would have disintegrated it after a week  but it seems the insides of a cocker move in mysterious ways! :005:
Glad Eze‘s is ok! :luv:

Thank you.
A weird one that's for sure

Well let's just say Ezey does it :luv:
Glad it has appeared - maybe there is an inbuilt sock draw in cockers.
-
Ha, maybe.
She is a nightmare for getting socks, tea towels, paper ☹️

How strange! Glad it’s re-appeared! Love the ‘cocker’s have an inbuilt sock drawer comment!
Peanut loves socks too, I’ve devised a way of getting dressed whilst doing the “Basil Faulty Walk’ apart from I’m not as tall. She jumps up trying to run off with my underwear, getting pant on whilst avoiding her claws and teeth is a dicey exercise!
Is there anything they don’t try to eat? I wonder what else is in her stomach patiently waiting for stomach acid to break it down.
Was the sock still useable, after a wash?!
John.
