Hi everyone, I'm Adele from Derbyshire!
Currenty researching a new family pet, well ok mainly a Cocker Spaniel! :005: We had border collies when I was a kid but I've not had a dog as an adult. Now the kids are getting bigger and less dependent on me I am hoping to introduce a little puppy to the house! :luv:
I've done a bit of reading so far and I am probably more confused then anything by some things so thought I'd better find an online community to come and chat to!
Speak soon! ;)

Thank you everyone! The site is proving to be a fantastic research tool! I've also been out this afternoon and bought 2 books about Cockers along with the Dog Listener book! LOL! I originally wanted a golden bitch (hence the name) but from my research thus far I think I'll be staying away from solid's due to the rage syndrome! :-\ They are all so beautiful though it's hard to make a final decision and I'm in no rush!

Hello and Welcome!
Don't believe all you read about rage in solids ;). Rage is an extremely rare condition and most reputable breeders are confident their lines will produce puppies of sound temperament (sp?).
Nervous and agressive dogs sometimes get mis-labelled as having rage when they don't....most of what you read is rubbish!!
Don't let this decide the colour of your puppy! Let the search for a reputable breeder help you do that. In the end we all want a healthy happy well adjusted pup - colour comes second...!! :D
