Can anyone advise as to the average cost of a pup in Scotland at the moment. I am going to ask my breeder next time I speak to her but I must admit I hate talking ££.
I had thought about £550 but I could be well off the mark. Its just dawned on me that Christmas is coming and I may not have put enough aside for my new arrival...eeek!
Can anyone tell me if I have to stay in all December and save my pennies???

Think it depends on breeders etc But i think you should be Ok with what you thought anywhere from £450 to £600 ;)
So depends on when new arrival comes as to how much staying in you do :)

Poppy Watson cost me £475 when i bought her last year (Lynwater). Bramble cost the same amount 2 years earlier. ;)

Jem was £450 in April 2005. Pup is coming Feb 2008.
I think I should be okay. I've been saving like a mad woman since OH relented :D Someone I know had mentioned that someone she knew was told £800 ph34r Had minor heart attack and automatically started slashing the Christmas budget (whats more imprtnat!!!).

Workers are around £400-500 at 8 weeks so I'd bung a bit more on that for a show type, I'd be thinking £500-600.

I'd agree £500-500

We got Breagha 6 weeks ago, she is a working type and was £450.
