Title: Hello to Everyone

A quick note to say hi to everyone.

We have just recently got ourselves a male cocker spaniel puppy who we have named Marshall. He has been at home with us for 2 weeks now and has already become a much treasured family member, although he has turned our lives upside down.

This is our first dog as a family and we have waited to make sure that we got the right dog for our busy and lively household, which includes 2 children of 16 and 10 and a cat.

I have had experience of dogs before, (Shetland Sheepdogs), but decided that a cocker would be the ideal family pet, especially after getting to know our friends female cocker spaniel, who is really sweet and a fantastic family pet.

I will post some pictures of Marshall as soon as I can..

Can't wait for the piccies - i too also have a cocker as our first dog - he's a golden cocker now 8 months called Ollie.

Welcome to COL and we have Poppy a Golden Show type (our first dog) and she will be one year old on Saturday - where does the time go....

Welcome to Col..looking forward t seeing pics of your gorgeous boy. What colour is he?  I have Romeo a 2 year old Blue Roan who is adorable  :luv: but slightly loopy  :005:

I know what you mean about turning your life upside down  ;) Tia our choccie roan worker did with us  :005: She is our first cocker and brings so much to our lives that we wouldn't be without her now  :luv:

Hi all..

Thanks for the warm welcome..

Marshalls colour is black and tan, although he only has a small amount of tan compared to the black. I will try and get pictures on ASAP..

We have a gorgeous blue roan called Barney who is nearly 14 months and is as mad as a box of tricks  :005:
