Hi my name is Sarah, and I have a 15 week old cocker called Kimmi (after a character in the rugrats apparantly). She is blue roan, and a right bag of tricks at the moment. Has anyone any good tips on how to stop her pulling when out for a walk. She is quite good when we meet other dogs - big ones dont scare her, but boy is she afraid of little ones!!

Hi Sarah(http://www.emotipad.com/newemoticons/Wave2.gif)
Welcome to COL
I have a blue roan too, his name is Blue and he is 13 months old now
I have the pulling on the lead problem too and I 've been using the stop/start method, what you do is every time Kimmi pulls on her lead you have her stop then when your ready you can start to walk again - it's a loooooooooooong walk but it really does work, Blue is so much better now than he was :D

:D Hi Sarah and Kimmi
Welcome to COL! I have 11 month old blue roan girl "Indie" who also likes to pull on the lead  I think its a cocker thing, I am sure with time Kimmi will get much better, shes only a baby yet, with all those fascinating scents to follow
Hope you enjoy the site!

Hi :D
I am new here too, and waiting for our little girl she is only two weeks at the moment. Sounds like you are having fun with your pup.
I have a 9 year old lab and she pulled a lot as a pup. I also found the best solution was to just stop dead, she eventually caught on :)

Hi Sarah, I've only just joined COL too along with Harvey my solid black 6 mth cocker. My problem when walking Harvey is that he doesn't pull on the way TO the park, he pulls all the way back! He's such a little know it all that I think he likes to show off that he knows the way home. When I stop dead he just looks at me as if I'm stupid. Head-strong for sure!
Good luck and welcome to the site!
