Hi all,
I'm Lucy and I have a (nearly) 10 week old black pup called Maddy who we collected about 10 days ago. This is my first cocker and indeed first dog of my own so it's all very overwhelming but both my OH and I are loving it!!
She's a total madam though and already causing me to run to COL all the time - this site is life-saving! I've been skulking around for the last 10 days and you've all made me feel so much better already so thank you! Thought it was about time I joined in and told you that!
Anyway, looking forward to hearing all the stories, seeing the pics and of course gratefully receiving the invaluable advice! Will try and upload a snap of the little 'un this afternoon...
Thanks again! L

Welcome to you and Maddy :D
Glad the site is helping, it's a real relief to know you're not getting it totally wrong or your pup doesn't actually have some kind of devil disorder... it's just 'normal' :lol2: ;) In a few months you'll have forgotten how bad it can be and have the most wonderful chum ever, I promise.
Looking forward to seeing some pics of your little lady!
Anway, welcome from me, Dave (Cocker 2.5yrs) and Normy (Weimaraner 4.5 yrs) :luv:

Hi and welcome to COL :D
I remember those first few weeks and months of puppyhood - 30% lovely and 70% awful ::) :005:
COL saved my life too - it was the only place where no one told me there was something wrong with my dog or me ;) I would love to say that now she is 4 she is a dream dog but she is still a flipping handful but I think I am used to it and would be bored if she was any other way ;) :luv:
Look forward to seeing some pics of your new baby :luv:

Hello and welcome. My doggie chum is Morgan, he's 16 months old now and is an orange roan show type. I grew up with cockers and so have known the breed all my life, this boy is something special though :luv:
Looking forward to reading more about Maddy, and seeing some photos too!

Welcome to COL. I have Poppy a golden aged 13 and Rosie a black and white who's 6. Although I have had cockers for many years I have found this site a mine of information or just support from people who know and love the breed, oh yes and it is addictive.

Hi Lucy, welcome to COL. :D
I think I'm one of the few people who loved every minute of Cocker puppyhood. ph34r Either that, or I've blocked out all the horrible bits. :lol2: I've got 2 Cockers - Milo a 4 yr old solid liver boy and Mocha, a 3 yr old liver roan and tan girl. :luv:
Looking forward to seeing some pics of Maddy and hearing all about her exploits. ;)
