Hi
My name is John. My family - my wife Jane, son Tom and daughter Katie - are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Pebbles, our Blue Roan Cocker. We pick him up on 28th May and we can't wait. We think we've got everything for him - we just need him now.
Although I've had dogs a long time ago no-one else in the family has so it's a new experience to them. Any tips or useful advice in welcoming Pebbles into our home would be gratefully received as well as any thoughts on what we might expect for the first few weeks.

You will find this website so so helpful especially in the wait until pebbles comes home,

 we have been waiting since barney was a week old and it feels forever, it is now 8 days tommorow until we pick him up.

 all my neurotic and angst ridden questions have been answered on cocker on line plus lot lots more.

it would be great to see any pics of pebble you have.

could luck and keep us informed ,

Well, you met us this evening so you know about Buddy.

Look forward to seeing you around on here (remember - it's very addictive!) and maybe on Linear Park one day?

(Steve is "Reading Steve" on here, but see his recent post and you'll realise that his days are numbered!)

It's such a long long wait isn't it? But Pebbles will soon be home with you, and life will never be the same again :P

If you've got children who have not had a puppy/dog before read through our FAQ on the subject FAQ's HERE there are also lots of other helpful ones on toilet training etc there to.

Great to hear you and your family are joining the "cocker mad" world!

I'm Rachel, and am 'mum' to an 11 month old blue roan boy called Molo - he is my first spaniel and can't believe its taken so long!

My daughter had no experience of dogs when Molo came home; it didn't take long for them to become good friends and I am sure they are plotting world domination between them  :lol:

Look forward to chatting, and seeing pictures of Pebbles in due course!!!
