Another lovely dog saved by Many Tears. Out of interest, how many others have ex Many Tears cockers?

I adopted my Dippy Daisy from MT - she was Irene.  She makes me laugh everyday at her antics and I can't imagine life without her.  Because of Daisy's background I started fostering -  and somehow acquired a lab too! :lol2:  Current cocker is the delightful Peter Pan.  He's coming on well and has discovered the 'puppy' he's never had the chance to be before. :luv:  Will be doing an update on MT site soon.

Have a very happy life in your new home Piper. xx

Hi, yes it was me that was fostering Piper. Not sure where the Mary P bit has come from but never mind. My dogs are Remy & Jade.  I'm so glad you had a look on COL it's a great place for cocker advice and general fun. Piper is. such a lovely girl and she is in the right hands to encourage her forward into the rest of her life. Lilly is just  :luv:  When pip as I believe you are calling her new has settled in with you we will have to organise cocker walk on the Likey Hills.

I think it was because MaryP used to put the updates on how Piper was getting on x

Hi Everyone, :luv:
Piper is doing very well, she has become my girl already, she follows me everywhere perhaps because I have been there with her for most of the time, giving her attention she needs. Even Paul has noticed that Piper loves her mommy more than daddy at the moment, lol. :D Toilet training is still a bit of a hit and miss. She stays clean over night somehow, but then if I leave her for 2 hours in a day, she will do a toilet in the house, that includes both types of it...:/ But I am patient with her and I know that one day she will learn to go outside by copying Lilly as she mainly does anyway.

I recorded this video few mins ago:

She becomes happier and happier dog every day, it's so rewarding seeing her wagging her tail in the morning when we come downstairs. She is a little ball of joy :) She met most of the family already too, and she also perceives herself to be a house guard by barking at anybody new coming to the house. This makes a nice change actually as Lilly never barks! She loves her walks and she now fully reacts on her name, which she did not at the start at all. Me and Paul were focusing over the last few days on training her to react on her name by calling her from one room to another and rewarding her with cooked chicken (which she loves) each time she came around. It worked!

I will be updating on progress.

And Sharon, I do apologise - I did think that Mery P was you due to Mery P doing the updates on her on the forum. Thank you all for positive messages... Xxx

Piper has settled in so well.  I love the tail  :luv: so sweet.  I think you have worked wonders in the few days she has been there.  Toilet training will take a bit of time.  Lara took a good wee while to sort out, but largely my fault, as her signs were so subtle I didn't pick up on them for a bit.  My two boys were much more obvious!!  :lol2:Lara is a mummy's girl too  :005: and cooked chicken is one of her favourite things.  Thanks for the lovely update, it is so good to be able to follow their progress.  :bigarmhug:
