Decided to join the forum after having read of a cocker requiring a home.
Since last October I have owned (or owned by) an 8yr old ex-breeder show cocker, her name is Shadow and she lives up to her name, she is permanently glued to my side.
In February I had a minor stroke which meant an overnight stay in hospital and the most painful part was thinking of her sitting by the door waiting for me to come back.
I have been searching for some time for a similar mature dog for my son and find it difficult. Buying a puppy is easy, obtaining a rescue dog not so.
