21 week old won't eat!

For the past 3 weeks my little boy will go to his bowl and only eat a very very small amount. He is currently on Beta puppy with half a sachet of pedigree puppy moist mixed in. We tried this as he wouldn't eat the Beta dry food on its own. Now he won't eat either! Any ideas or advice?

Is he happy otherwise? Me and my pup had a bad experience with beta, it's not great stuff, maybe it's upsetting his stomach?

He seems ok in himself and no visible signs of an upset tum. Interesting though about Beta, he came from the breeder on it so we just kept him on it.

Same here... I bought a tonne of the stuff before he came home but quickly realised it wasn't agreeing with him. Just in the process of changing to a different food now.

Maybe take him for a check up, put your mind at rest.

Yes thanks, think it might be time. Just out of interest which food have you swopped too, I'm thinking of doing the same.

I'm trying him on Applaws. I used the Which Dog Food website - which grades all the dog foods available according to quality, ingredients etc. I've found it invaluable. Good luck   :blink:

Minstrel was on Beta from the breeder and it did not agree with him at all, he is now on Naturediet puppy and thriving. There does seem to be a lot of breeders who use Beta.

Funny isn't it. It's not like it's particularly cheap in comparison to other better quality foods I've found!

Perhaps they get Beta salesmen call with 'special offers for large loads'  ;)

Fudge was on Beta puppy until he was 9 months old with no problems. We did however add some warm water to soften it.

He is now on Eden and loves it.
