I am sorry to hear about your Mum, but totally agree with Jo & Dennis, our little bundles of fluff just know the right time to come and give you a great, big sloppy cocker kiss and cuddles - Bramble has pulled me out of many sad moments....

Bramble is my 5 month solid black bitch - I love her to bits and has become a very, very special member of our family.....

When we started our search, we by chance stumbled across Bramble in a simialr situation to you!!!!    I am soooooo pleased for you and wish you all the luck with your new little one when he/ she arrives......

I thought we were going to have problems finding a puppy, but when I got home last night had an e mail from another breeder I contacted who has got a litter due round about 24 July.  These are likely to be all black.  Time wise these might be slightly better, to coincide with my mum's recovery (she's doing very well and thanks for your good wishes) and also as we are going away for a week in December I would feel happier about leaving a slightly older puppy in someone elses care.  Decisions, decisions eh.

    As soon as we set foot outside our house with Bramble (she was 8 weeks and we carried her to school in a blanket) we had people begging us to let them have her when we go away!!!!!!!!   We took Bramble on holiday in May to Cornwall with us, but had to leave her with a friend for a day when she was about 14 weeks old - I was lucky to get her back!!!!!!!  You will probably find as soon as people get wind of your new arrival - you will not only be the most popular person in town, but other doggy people (hopefully friends) will be genuinely offering their services rather than you put your little one into kennels !!!!     Your life will never be the same!!!!
