Thought it might be nice to have a thread (if there is anybody else) where we can all talk about our pups and hold each others hand while we wait and then when we go through the new puppy phase

Yes of course.  we are due picking up poppy on the 26th july.   Im fortunate that I have the breeder on FB so she posts lots of pics and videos.  are you guys organised.  I think ill buy another crate because the one i bought for her has sort of become the car crate. Also think a smaller 1 might be a good idea.

I've got a dog crate and small open top rabbit pen that isn't in use at the moment for my girl, I just have a couple of beds, Id tag, some more chew type toys and food to get in then I'm all sorted for her arrival in a few weeks :D

This is my girl Luna:-

She is gorgeous.  Poppy is the same.  Black with a little bit of white on her chest and paws.  I dont think poppy will need any toys etc for the rest of her life lol.  She has 4 beds, so many toys, 2 collars and leads, training pouch and whistle and loads of other things lol

I definitely need some more toys lol

This is what I've got so far plus her set up in my room, I've yet to get 2 beds, more treats, more toys, food to change on to, ID tag and a proper spaniel bowl for when she's older. I still need to set up her pen for downstairs.

Savic do a good cocker bowl and its pretty cheap.  I bought spaniel bowls on ebay for merlin and poppy with their names on.  Really good quality.  Red dingo is my favourite for collars and leads

Can I ask what size crates you have? I have a 42" and a 46" which I think are going to be to large to begin with. What about 36" for car esp when puppy first comes home?
I did buy bowls this week and a couple of toys- a little rabbit and a blue treat holder chew toy.Im trying to hold myself in check until puppy is here and I know what sort of thing he likes. With previous dogs I've always frequently bought and rotated toys that puppy has free access to and kept a few high interest toys back to only be played with when I am there. This seems to focus interest on the toys rather than furniture! I'm just going to go and have a little look at red dingo! ;)

Mine is a 42" Crate but is second hand from my beautician and can't afford a new one for a couple of months so going to find a divider of sorts to make it smaller to start with :)

I went shopping again today lol

I bought more toys, food and a dog safety gate for the garden

I have a 24", 30" and 36" crate. Merlin has a 36" and has loads of room. We have a 30" in the car and pretty sure both will fit.
