10 months old and a lunatic

Loki has started have insane moments where he runs around barking and 'bites' me.  Is this just a teenage phase?

Probably yes. See threads on cockerdiles?

Gloves, wine and chocolate seem to be the standard prescription  ;)

It sounds like it could be the infamous 'Wall of Death' that young cockers (and some old) are so fond of :005:. He's the right age for adolescence as well, so could be entering that often tricky teenage stage. It's usually a case of going back to basics with them as they forget how to behave. It does pass, eventually :P.

At that age their back teeth begin to set in too, which can cause discomfort, so make sure he has plenty of things he can chew.

If it's any consolation Ernie is almost 8 months and has taken to completing a circuit of the kitchen like a lunatic every morning followed by jumping on the coffee table and then the sofa . He then refuses to get off the sofa and thinks it's a great game to "mouth " my hand when I try to extract him !!  >:D

Ah the Wall of Death!!

Buster's favorite! We have an older sofa in the conservatory and he can run straight across the back before firing off down the house again.

Benji had that teenage phase, but he's just turned 7 and he still has mad moments now and again  >:D Particularly after being made to stand still for a while like after a bath!

But he stopped the 'biting' so that part does pass  :005:

I remember having to leave the room when Bea done this, not because I was scared but crying with laughter :005: :005:

She did thankfully grow out of the nipping part of it.

Chaz used to be able to do a complete circuit of the living room without his paws touching the floor  ;)

We just sat and laughed at him while getting jumped over, then set about replacing all the cushions, throws, magazines etc. that he'd managed to shift off the furniture during his low level circuits.

Bob.

Loki's most recent zoomie saw him end up in the bath, WITH MY DAUGHTER!  She was most surprised to say the least, but he seemed happy.
