Just like to say hello to you all, we are just about to bring home our cocker spaniel puppy in 3 weeks and we cant wait!!!!!

Hi there and welcome, i am a proud mum to Ruben aged 11 weeks, we have had him since 8 weeks. I bet you cant wait i remember only too well counting the weeks then days down...worth the wait!!! Keep us posted

What colour is your pup and have got a little girl or boy? Bet you cannot wait.

We have a lovely golden girl Holly, she was born on Christmas Day - hence the name! she is an absolute delight.

Enjoy the run up to bringing your pup home and getting all the little bits and pieces in place.

Oh and get plenty of sleep!!!

We have a little boy and not sure on the official colour!!!!!(its a light brown to us...lol)

We have Buddy, a 6 month old blue roan. He's pretty gorgeous too!

Is he here yet?  Hi, we're also in South Wales and have two boys, afour year old red called Danny and a14 month orange roan called Ollie.  Your little on elooks gorgeous, where is he from? :D

Sorry not updated this post but we now have Alfie and have taken him on his first long walk today.....i'm not sure if it was long for him or me..lol.....or the kids..lol....and we had him from a breeder near Pontlliw ,Swansea....

That's great. Hope you are all getting on well.

How old is your baby now?

Do be careful not to walk him too much. The general advice is to walk for about 5 minutes for every month of their age up to 12 months old, so at 7.5 months old, our Buddy is having 35 minutes twice a day. Occasionally he gets a bit more, sometimes less, but that is the general rule.

This is to help prevent degenerative hip problems in later life. It MAY never happen, but we feel that a bit of caution now will help to prevent a life-time of restriction later.
