I agree with your gun dog trainer re balls

We use balls for training but that’s it

For play we have a couple of ropes - that only come out when we play or a nylon rope that is thrown into water for her to retrieve

Free toys she has a dog that goes to bed with her that she will sometimes disappear in the day to fetch - a duck and a squeaky cow  :shades:

She has a nylabone bone but not interested in it
