A New Baby Boy
« on: October 12, 2005, 10:03:07 PM »
Newbie here! well after 4 years of talking about getting a dog we finally took the plunge and got our new edition last week. he will be 9 weeks old on Friday and rusty is a golden bundle of joy (well most of the time).

i spent all my life with dogs, all golden retrievers and since leaving home i have missed them terribly. he was the only golden dog from a litter of 7 we were the first to see them and wanted him immediately. he is the cheekiest little thing and only cried the first 2 nights. toilet training is hard work and not going too well at the moment but I'll keep working at it (any advice gratefully received).

its more hard work than i remember especially having my little boy as well who loves rusty dearly, but i know it will all be worth it. :D

i found cockers on line by accident and so glad i did

with love from Lou and Rusty

:P Hiya, I'm also quite new here! I've got a rescue cocker (blue roan) who was badly neglected, not trained on the lead at all and a real whinger!! Having said that we love him to bits. He's a real character and he gets on pretty well with my other dog, a working springer spaniel.

Rusty looks adorable

Hi There,

Rusty is an angel!

I have Daisy who is a 14 month old blue roan. I'm also getting a pup soon so I'll be staring the training all over again - I must be mad!

Look forward to chatting.

saying that its still hard because their both babies and they don't really understand but they are great with each other. lets hope the coming months get better for the both of us. :P

hes sat on my knee asleep as i type bless

So many cute puppy pictures

Rusty must be a model pup; Molo would have chewed the camera to bits, not used it as a pillow

Enjoy COL - I look foward to hearing about Rusty-pup's antics

Hello and welcome. Glad you found us.

I have 18 wk old golden Willow, your pictures of Rusty are lovely.

It made me look at Willow's baby pictures again. They grow so quickly. I got a better digital camara (for my 40th last tuesday) I so wish I'd had it a few weeks ago as my puppy photos are all a bit fuzzy. There's no stopping me now.
