Catherine thats great news :) Hes been in my thoughts all days and I even had a wee word with the man upstairs.

From what Ive read on parvo, seeing as hes made it this far a full recovery should be on the books. You will have to nurse him a while and keep him quarentened but he should soon be a bundle of fun and mischief :)

So sorry to hear about your little pup -  he sounds like a fighter.
My mum had a collie that had parvo when she was 8 wks old - she pulled through and lived to the ripe old age of 18!

keeping everything crossed and thinking of you

.... haemorraghic gastroenteritis gives incredibly similar symptoms to parvo.......
I shall be very interested to hear the official lab test results as to what has caused your pups illness.
I am very pleased to hear he is feeling better - how are they treating him ?  I take it he's on a drip ?

We rang the vets at 7pm to check how Sonny was doing, they said he was still the same.  Very weak and sleepy, still no more sickness, which is good news.

We will have a restless night and ring again in the morning :( .

Sonny is on a drip to keep him hydrated, and to feed him anitbiotics and painkillers.  He also has a heat pad to keep him warm , oh and his teddy cocker spaniel teddy to snuggle up to :) .
