I have noticed that Herbie has smelly breath.  He eats the same as Mikey and Mikey doesn't smell at all.  I have checked his teeth and gums and they look OK.  He still has some puppy teeth as he's only 5 months so bad teeth should not be a problem.  The smell is more like a fishy smell than old dog bad breath that Ronald has got.  He cannot pinch food as it's never left around,  Anyone got any ideas on what it might be?

Could it be his anal glands Mich?  I have heard these give off a fishy smell when they need a squeeze  ;) .

Hiya!

I'd agree with the anal glands possibility - we've had that with Max - very fishy - yuk!! Plus when he was teething, his breath was RANK!! Could it be that maybe?  

Bless them - we're always on here discussing their bits or their bodily functions or even the size of their 'manhood' - we're obsessed!!!!
