Unfortunately, due to an unprovoked attack on one of the girls at work, Jackson was put to sleep this afternoon :(  It wasn't a decision that was made lightly - his breeder and the rescue co-ordinator discussed it and they decided it just wasn't safe to try and rehome him elsewhere.  To say I'm devastated would be an understatement - he may have only been here a few weeks but he was well and truly one of my boys and I will miss him so much :(  :(  When his ashes come back, they will be scattered in the woods that he loved going to so much.

Dallas might think Santa has come early but Christmas is well and truly cancelled for me :(

Oh Gill, I'm so sorry. You did your very best, and as has been said already, these last weeks must have been the best for him.

He's at peace now.

Gill, so very sad to hear this news, but we all know you did your very best for this boy and you should be proud that his final few weeks were such happy ones with you.  You did what was best for everyone concerned, including Jackson - he is free of his demons now.  I hope you can salvage some Christmas spirit, but knowing how much your boys mean to you I know it will be hard.  Lots of ((hugs)) to you and your boys.

Oh no Gill, I am so so very sorry.....
As has already been said, his last few weeks were the happiest, and that should give you some small consolation....

Thinking of you and the boys
