Hello from Norfolk
« on: February 28, 2006, 09:24:47 PM »
Evening all, just found out about this website through Many Tears Rescue.

I have a two and a half year old Working Cocker Spaniel, chocolate and white in colour called Lucy who loves going out for long walks and flushing out pheasants!!!!

Anyone else got a Working Cocker and keep getting told that she's a miniature Springer?  I had a Springer when I was young and just love them but wanted something abit smaller this time.

Hi Alison and Lucy of course, who I have to say is stunning. :luv:
Welcome to COL.
I too had springers before getting our boil washed version in Jet our working cocker pup.
I can't blame people for calling cockers, springers really but
yep, jarvis (who is solid choc or liver) has been mistaken for a springer, a red setter ?! *choke* and at around 4 months a chocolate lab
Now that is just silly. :005: :005: :005:
Have fun on here and keep the pics coming.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Until I found COL I thought I had a 'sprocker'  :005: even though Fern's pedigree is pure (working) cocker  :shades: . She is often mistaken for a Springer even now. I've only had Springers before so I didn't feel insulted (not sure about Fern though... :-\ ). Looks a bit like Lucy?  :luv: :luv: :luv:
