Hello again
« on: June 24, 2006, 01:04:28 PM »
Thanks for all your good wishes from when I checked in 2 wks ago. It is so nice to know there is such support from you all.
10 days to go until we pick up our baby "Poppy" I am counting down the days. I have a couple of cocker books , but can anyone reccomend that special book especially on the training part!!
As I said before she is a blue roan, and I get daily updates and pic's and her roaning seems to be coming through now.
I have just about got everything in like toys treats, car harness, crate, Burns puppy bites. Just got to get the bed and blankets.
Have I left anything out?
Bye for now
Debbie

'The Perfect Puppy' by Gwen Bailey is a great book and includes training, and recently I've had a lot of training success with 'the Culture Clash' by Jean Donaldson. Both defo worth having  :D

Hope the wait for your Poppy is not proving too hard  :D

Dettol wipes and dettol floor wipes - I think they are great and the do not contain bleach so don't encourage pups to wee in the same place again!  ;)  Also, lots of film for your camera  :D  How exciting - time will pass slowly until Poppy comes home but then it will fly so get any jobs done now 'cos you will get flap all done once you get her  :005:

Kitchen Roll!!

If the kitchen roll industry posts record profits for the months of March and April it will all be thanks to Alfie.. some days we got through an entire roll in about 12 hours!  :005:

And don't buy an expensive bed cos Alfie's on his 4th one now and he's only 6 months  ::)

They're worth it though, I bet you can't wait!  :D
