Even though she can't go walking "around and about" till her second vaccinations have taken effect, do take her out carrying her round, to see the world - it'll help massively with her socialisation process and will stop you feeling like the prisoner of Zenda!  We did have an hilarious moment when some idiot teenager said to her mum as my husband carried Paddy round Windsor - "look mum, that man's carrying a rabbit!"  Duh.

Can't wait to see some piccies.

Can't wait till I learn how to post some of my own!!

Funny you should say that about the rabbit.  I was carrying her and she was a bit shy and stuck her nose down my V neck top, so you could only see the back of her head and the long ears.  A young man said to me 'hey how cute that's a lovely colour for a bunny'.  Hmmm maybe it's because it was the day before Easter and he had bunnies on his mind.

OH thinks she runs like a rabbit anyway - I suppose running is the wong word, more like lolloping along I think.

Oh I seem to have included my message in the quote above.  It's me from 'it's funny you should say that..' onwards.

I know this is a bit late but I am sure I read recently in a repected doggie mag that vets are now recommending that puppies leave their parents at around 6 weeks. Something to do with 8 weeks being atime when they go through a 'fear' stage and they suffer more from being seperated at that age. Apparently they adapt much easier and quicker at 6 weeks.

Has anybody else read this?

The youngest I have ever had a pup was 7 weeks she was fine the oldest I have had was 16 weeks she was a nightmare at the time.
