Hello everyone,

Long time board lurker here, been using it for over a year now to get invaluable advice and info. Me and my g/f have a Golden/Red/Ginger! cocker called Leo. We picked the name cos we thought he had little Tiger/Lion stripes along where his whiskers are.

He's just turned 1 at the end of July and is coming along brilliantly, wouldn't be without him now. Although he has his mishchevious and hyper moments, but their more funny than anything else.

We've enjoyed looking at the pics of everyone else's cockers, we could sit and look through the pics all day. All the colourings look good, it would be so hard to choose which we liked the best if we where ever to get another one. He'd love a cocker friend to play with, here in East Lothian we've only ever met one other cocker and that was a relative from the same breeder.

I have 2 cockers - Moog is a black and white girl aged 16 months and Mervyn is a (deaf) blue dog aged 18 months.

Thanks for all the nice replies, Leo's blushing!

I'd definetly be interested in bringing Leo along to some sort of cocker meet-up if there was ever one in the Edinburgh or East/West Lothian area. Im sure he'd love to play with other dogs his size.

Hi Gingerleo and welcome to the forum.

As Magic Star says, Leo is very similar in looks to my Jimmy ( who is, in my biased opinion the most handsome Cocker that ever graced the planet - others would no doubt disagree though  :005: ) - I doubt they are very close relatives though, unless you travelled down to the SE of England to get him.

Nice pics - he's very handsome, reds/golds are my favourites so I always like to see photos of them.

I'm in Edinburgh, so just shout if you want to go for a walk.  I have a golden boy too, Bailey, who is 3 1/2.  :luv:  We got Bailey from West Lothian.  Could they be related?

Hiya

They may be related somewhere down the line. The breeder i got Leo from also deals with breeders in Broxburn(i think??). They certainly look alike!.
