As you may know I have been working on socialising my puppies - especially Casper as he was very frightened of other dogs. Now I'm wondering if his socialising may have gone too far?!
Casper will now react either one of two ways.
1) He barks from a distance - this happens less often now. He did it this morning as we were walking along a narrow path and had to approach two ladies with a lab. head on. Understandable reaction though I thought, as he had no way of escaping.
2) He will go straight up to a dog (or bitch, he's not fussy!), stick his nose up their bum for a sniff and then start licking their bits!And he is very persistant in this - not a quick lick, he can keep going for some time! And then he will attempt to hump them!
Just wondered why he did this? Someone said yesterday it was a dominance thing, but I can't imagine that of Casper.
