Toileting in a specific area - help!
« on: September 10, 2006, 02:43:54 PM »
We've always allowed Bluebell (4 months) to wee and poo anywhere in our garden, but as we have children as well, we'd really like to limit her to one area, not on the lawn where the kids play.

OH has just put some moss killer down, so we're barricading off the lawn for a few days anyway, but thinking we might keep it fenced off so that she can't toilet on it any more (or dig it up).

There are plenty of other areas in the garden where she can (and does) go to the loo, so does anyone have any ideas of how to change her habits?  I dont' really have any idea when she goes to the loo, I can't watch her all the time.

We're thinking of leaving the lawn fenced off to her maybe for a couple of weeks, in which time she will have to toilet elsewhere, but how to stop her using the lawn again?

Sorry if it's a bit jumbled, I'm tired!
