Yet Another Newbie

Hi everyone,

We have just joined, but have spents lots of hours as guests, looking at the photos of your beautiful dogs and reading the masses of informative and funny threads.

Unfortunately, we lost our cocker spaniel Ben, suddenly, in July after 11 wonderful years of companionship and cocker kisses, cuddles and mischief.

Nothing will ever replace our special boy, but we are now looking for another sweet bundle of fur, ears and paws (of the cocker variety) to adopt us forever and ensure we have something to do on wet windy days.

Hi welcombe to COL,

sorry to hear about your Ben,  I have a 3 yr old black boy called Ben who is the love of my life ( well, after OH of course ;))
Good luck finding your new pup, I know a new pup never replaces the dog you have lost, but it will bring you gret fun and lots of love and cocker kisses!

Welcome to COL.  So sorry to hear about Ben, we lost our beloved Yorkie in September and although we have 2 other dogs (neither of whom are cockers!!!) we still miss her every day.

We look forward to talking about our new cocker (when we find the right one) and sharing photos, tips etc

We have 4 cockers 3 blue roans and a black puppy we also have Golden Retrievers  :blink:

What a fantastic web site.All the pics of your beautiful dogs bring a smile tomy face.We too lost our beautiful gold girl Hannah in the Summer.She was 13yrs and having had her since a puppy has left a big gap in our lives. In the new year we are looking at getting a parti coloured puppy. I will keepyou posted when our new bundle of joy arrives. Jenny

She's not kidding. I have only been a member 2 weeks and I have spent 14 hours on here already!!!! I don't want to feel Im missing out on anything and you want to find out how sick/missing dogs are doing.  :'(
