coming into season

Jess is 7 months old now so I think she should be coming into season any time in the next few months.  Over the past couple of days she has been weeing a lot more when out on walks.  she appears to be having a good sniff first then weeing in a certain spot.  Is this a sign that she is coming into season?

It's certainly possible. My girls usually started peeing a lot when they were getting ready to come in season. They were closer to 9 months when they had their first one, but yes, now that I think about it the peeing was the 1st sign.
